Dr. Roger C. Biehl, MD
Dr. Biehl is a lifelong Alaskan who loves being outdoors with his dog Rascal.
Dr. Biehl is a graduate of Western Washington University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, with a minor in chemistry. He completed medical school at the University of Washington School of Medicine as part of the WWAMI Program.
Dr. Biehl is Board Certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology, as well as a Fellow of The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists .
Dr. Biehl served his residency in Grand Rapid, Michigan, where he received in-depth training in laparoscopic surgery, and developed a passionate interest in this procedure.
After practicing in Fairbanks and Idaho for four years, Dr. Biehl was accepted for a fellowship for specialized training in Advanced Pelvic Surgery. Working with some of the world’s best surgeons, he received extensive training in state-of-the-art laparoscopic and robotic surgery.
Today, Dr. Biehl is proud to offer the women of Alaska health care and advanced surgical procedures that are on par with any region of the country, or the world.

Joan Evans, Office Manager
Joan Evans was born in Newfoundland, Canada. She has lived in Alaska for 25 years. For the past 23 years Joan has been in the medical field, working as a Medical Assistant and Office Manager. She has trained in many areas of medicine and she very much enjoys what she does. Joan loves working with people and is always there to help. Joan's hobbies include hiking, fishing, bowling, and traveling.
